A Very Special Ride

This morning began with the 40 min motorway ride from Paul’s home to the Eurotunnel. Nothing special, right? As things turned out it was special! Because Paul suddenly declared that he will join me half way! He immediatly went to his garage to get his all new Ducati Scrambler.. We got prepared and started the v-twins..

The sun was shining but it was -3°C and the road was wet and slippery by the humidity. For Paul the right time to try out his heated gloves. For me the right time set the Multistrada from sport mode to touring mode which gives me an extra load of assist on throttle and break. We drove carefully anyways. On the next service station I asked him to come to the arrival ceremomy on the 15th in Bologna. We saw each other off and I went on the M20 heading south. It was a big honor to me!

Entering the Eurotunnel train and I felt very well treated by everyone. One guy asked me „istn’t it cold??“ in a pantomimic way by rubbing his upper body in a self-hug-position with a questioning look. And I was like: „nah, all good!“ thumbs up. It’s easy to stay warm. Let’s see how the weather is going to be in the next few days..
