New York New York
6000kms and 13 states later, I have ridden in both miserable wet weather and perfect autumn days, experienced the heat of the Deep South and now I have arrived in New York to end an amazing adventure. Where better to spend my last night than in the heart of New York, Time Square, I want to thank the great guys at the NYPD for all their help in getting tonight’s images – I couldn’t have done it without you.
Along the way I have visited historic important locations like Indianapolis Speedway and Daytona Raceway, viewed some of the finest Ducati collections on the planet, had the privilege of meeting some incredible people and enjoyed some of the very best scenery America has to offer.
It has been a wonderful adventure, the Multistrada Enduro hasn’t missed a beat. I have tested it off-road, crossed deep rivers, weaved on single tracks through thick bush, carved my way through the Blue Ridge Parkway and blasted for hours at a time on the Interstate – it has eaten everything I could throw at it with ease.
I now hand the torch over to the extremely capable Hugo Wilson, I would encourage you to follow his journey through Europe – it’s going to be a blast.
Thanks to everyone I have meet along the way, to those who rode with me and those who helped make Ducati history. Huge thanks go’s to Vicki Smith for organizing so much of my route and events, you made all the difference. Finally thanks to Ducati for trusting me with the Enduro allowing me to be a part of this very special journey.
