Thank you California!!!

From Bishop I made my way to LA and it was pretty cool to ride around Hollywood with the bike but I was already excited for my appointment on Sunday with Mr. Doffo.

Doff winery is located at Temecula, outside LA and not only Marcelo Doffo has the best wine of the area, he owns an amazing collection of motorcycles, and of course the Ducatis are his favorite ones! Like the 1956 Ducati 98T 98 cc or the 1966 Ducati SC Race Bike 250 cc.

Marcelo, his son Damian and all of his family gave us (I say us because my dad just arrived from Brazil to ride with me for a few days) a very warm welcome and not only we got to do some wine tasting but Marcelo also cooked us a legit Argentinian barbecue! We stayed at his house and convinced him to ride with us in the morning to Big Bear Lake along with my good friend Sam Bendall, who I met in Firenze at the Globetrotter Bootcamp. So the 4 of us rode up the mountains and the Multi Enduro did really well on the twisties up hill*. What an amazing bike!

After Marcelo and Sam headed back to LA, it was time for my dad and I hit the road with our Enduros towards the Mojave Desert.

We spent the night in Barstow and headed to the Mojave In the morning. What a cool place to ride! There are so many trails that we had to take the bikes off road for a bit. It was a little sandy but we had fun with it!

Right after the Mojave we went north to the Death Valley, another amazing place to ride! It was super hot and we actually rode for a long time on an altitude below sea level. Like 300 feet bellow sea level. Insane!

Here we are at Furnace Creek planning out our next days. Tomorrow morning we will check out the Titus Canyon and then head towards the Grand Canyon!
